Regular columnists are appointed by invitation only. But anyone can contribute a column for consideration.
Column Content
1) Columns should be of interest to readers of the black literary publishing niche or those aspiring to publish or publishing within it, although contributers may be of any race. BIB doesn't discriminate, but rather focuses on those who read, aspire to publish or publish within a specific publishing niche established by the publishing industry and defined by the race of the author. General literary or publishing interest is relevant too.
2) Columns shouldn't be purely self-promotional. Advertisements will be removed. Inquire here about advertising rates.
3) Columns should always be original, have fresh content, and not published elsewhere unless it's cleared with the admin.
4) Column contributions can be posted anonymously if requested, however, contributers cannot be anon to the admin.
5) Include your sig lines on your column with your site and current release! Blogging in Black is a great promo opp to get the word out.
Potential contributers can send their column to admin AT blogginginblack DOT com. Copy and paste your content; attachments won't be received because of our filters. You will be contacted when your contribution is posted.
